HOBY Los Angeles is a volunteer-run organization and our annual Leadership Seminar would not be possible without generous donations from individuals, corporations, and Cooperating Organizations. These contributions make it possible for our Seminar to happen. The total weekend seminar cost is over $300 per student for room & board, HOBY T-shirt, and all seminar materials and facility use fees. You may choose to sponsor a HOBY Ambassador (a high school sophomore) from your community or put your donation towards a general sponsorship. HOBY Los Angeles is a 501(c)(3) organization and tax receipts will be issued for donations. All sponsors will be appropriately acknowledged at the HOBY Seminar.
Please contact our Seminar Chairperson if you or your company would like to sponsor an entire meal, a day's meals, or housing costs. A typical Seminar has 150 students and 40 volunteer staff members.
